From Genealogy to Family Tree

Genealogy is a written record of your ancestry(Family tree). It is the study of your legacy, your family history, of your ancestors and members of your family tree. It is not just a collection of dates, places and facts. It is much more personal than that.

As we start out by finding our ancestors we somehow hope to find a connection to royal bloodlines, or a kinship to some famous person. But that is most likely not the case. We will probably find out that our forefathers were common, hard working men and women who struggled through life making a living for themselves and their families.

When I think of life as a giant jigsaw puzzle and I think of myself as one small part of that big picture, I realize that all those other pieces are needed to complete the picture. The other pieces are my ancestors and forefathers. They are all part of me, part of who I am .

Do you ever wonder where your family originated from?
What circumstances brought them to this country?
What hardships they encountered and what shaped their lives

Genealogical research and scrapbooking have both become popular pastimes.
By combining the two of them you can create a lasting record of your family history and that of your children and grandchildren.
This is what my site is about, about finding and preserving your legacy.

I hope you will be inspired to to research and trace your roots and then create an heirloom memory book, a family history book to pass on to your children and grandchildren.
These works of art, which can include documents, oral histories, photographs, memorabilia,cd with photos, etc., will make beautiful gifts for Christmas, birthdays and other occasions.
On this site I have compiled a selection of great tools, books to help in your research, starter kits, scrapbooking kits , supplies and more.
I am constantly on the look-out for more. I hope that you will also help me in this area, let me know of products that would be suitable for this site and supplies you are interested in, or other suggestions just e-mail me.
So visit often, as I am continually adding more products and links .

I hope that this site encourages scrapbookers to add more history in their heritage albums, and that it will encourage genealogists to create heritage scrapbooks.

Hello…I placed order #21504 & was hoping to get a tracking number for it? Also I hoped to find out how big each photo space is as I’m gathering photos from all over. Thanks so much!

Hi Katherine, you must have missed the store notice that we were closed. I will be back home tomorrow – and all orders will go out in the next few days. I will send you the measurements asap. Sorry about that,
